Rv power problems.
Too much current can cause appliances or lights to fail or blow out and even melt wires or plugs.
Your rv has a series of batteries used to generate 12v power.
In addition to the breakers and fuses for the ac and dc systems there are ground fault circuit breakers gfcbs or ground fault indicators gfis in most 110 volt electrical receptacles that shut off the power to appliances plugged in if a circuit or wire shorts.
The first thing you need to do is identify what components operate on 120 volt power and what draws from the 12 volt dc system.
Any problem with the outside power source at a campsite will create issues with the electrical accessories in the rv.
The power supply should not fluctuate as the accessories will not run properly when the current flow is low and will fail or blow out when the current flow is too much.
The rv has fuses and breakers that shut the electricity off if any problems happen.

The 120 volt system is powered by an rv electrical hookup plug or a generator and it powers daily use items like kitchen appliances your tv and other large electrical appliances.

Your rv s 12 volt system needs to have a total of you guessed it 12 volts.
The electricity is used to power up lights leveling jack propane detectors and circuit board.
It may even turn out that the problem was caused by faulty wiring or a weak battery rather than with the slide out itself.
And diagnosing the problem can usually be done without needing to take the rv back to the dealership but a little investigative work will need to be done.
Make sure to check the source.
